In this second webinar of the series jointly organised by the World Employment Confederation (WEC) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to explore the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis on labour markets, we will discuss how to ignite labour market activation in the wake of the crisis and how to rethink skills policies for recovery.

Bringing together social partners, representatives from public and private employment services, government policymakers and academia, the webinar aims to shed light on: 

  • Latest insights on shaping Active Labour Market Policies (ALMPs) policies in response to the Covid-19 crisis  
  • How public and private employment services can contribute to labour market activation for recovery 
  • Rethinking skills policies for recovery  
  • Financing ALMPs and Skilling under fiscal constraints
