The World Employment Confederation-Europe is the voice of the recruitment and employment industry at European level. It brings together national federations and corporations covering a wide range of HR services, including agency work, direct recruitment, career management, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed Service Provision (MSP).
WEC-Europe is part of the World Employment Confederation.
The World Employment Confederation-Europe works to broaden recognition of the positive economic and social role that the employment industry plays in enabling work, adaptation, security and prosperity.
The World Employment Confederation-Europe is a non-profit association established under Belgian law. Our constitution establishes the Governing Body, Executive Committee, President and standing committees as main bodies of the Confederation.
Members of the World Employment Confederation-Europe must abide by the Code of Conduct of the World Employment Confederation which has been developed to promote international fair recruitment practices and uphold high quality standards.
The Code of Conduct defines the common principles and values shared by all Members of the World Employment Confederation when offering their services to companies and job-seekers. WEC also has a dedicated Code of Ethical Principles to be followed by its members in their use of Artificial Intelligence.
The World Employment Confederation-Europe is managed by the head office of the World Employment Confederation and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
